Week 4 - Zsolt Juriga

Week 4 Unfortunately the musician I'd been in contact with had changed plans and was too busy with her own work and preferred to work with a group she was more familiar with personally on the song she'd created  this set us back and I'd gotten back to my team and we held a meeting regarding this and discussed that we would ask for feedback on how to move forward. Luckily in class we'd sat down and looked at a few songs available to us and we decided on a song. Official Party line was a great song but I told our group that we should probably sit down at home listen to the song in our own time and write down what we think of the idea individually and then put them all together to see which ideas feel the best for the song.

Week 3 - Zsolt Juriga

Week 3 I had found us a singer previously who i'd gotten into contact with and they had just happened to be looking for someone to make a video for their new song so I told her our schedule and she said she would get back to me. At this point we didn't want to look too much into music videos and such as we were sure that if we were making someones video they would probably have their own vision and when making a music video we agreed its usually a good idea to capture the artists personality the most to make them stand out.

Week 2 - Zsolt Juriga

Week 2  Now that we had our group we'd need to settle on a song and what we want with our concept of course first we wanted to settle on a song before we could select anything else but we'd all gone ahead and researched music videos in hopes that we can find some more inspiration.   Moloko's Sing it back is incredibly memorable as a song and super catchy, this music video succeeds in being original and surreal yet simple It'd be hard to talk about music videos without thinking of the Prodigy's  Firestarter, the song perfectly displays the chaos it intends to show, the songs video is almost scary yet their backgrounds are simply just tunnels which looks perfect and claustrophobic

Week 1 - Zsolt Juriga

Week 1  When thinking about Music videos a lot comes to mind but I'd considered looking into their budget for things like production value and such It's like that by Run DMC was always a really fun music video with not the biggest production value in terms of set design but the dancing perfectly fit the music and really captures that time. Stardust- Music sounds better with you always had a really interesting music video of course a song by Daft Punks Thomas Bangalter deserves no less then something stylish and memorable Nothing incorporates the early 2000's better then Jamiroquai's music and this music video is simple yet beautiful in its presentation and original techniques.
